Hi all,
I need to send an express package to SYD, and just wondering.....
Which one has the best service to Australia, UPS or Fedex?
Here at Philadelphia Intl., UPS has cargo center and would be better, but Fedex has a good service too.
Just want your feedback about the both services.
I already sent by two carries but only domestic service here in US.
Kind regards,
Werner. AIRFLEETS.NET STAFF PHOTO SCREENER

my advice would be to ask them both their projected journey time to send a package there, and see what they say, you never know how your package may be routed, so info on timetables etc might not be worth that much to you.
For example I was couriered something from Paris and it went via the UK, then to here in Dublin. despite the fact that I am sure there is a more direct air route, they may have gotten it to me quicker by routing it this way.

Personally, when I decide which Int'l express courier to use, I always check which carrier has big ops in BOTH the origin AND the destination and which foreign country the package is heading to. Here are the reasons:
1. Being the biggest @ home(e.g. Fedex in Memphsis or UPS in Phil) may be easy for us to drop-off our package but mean absolutely zip when it arrives 5,000km in another country where they may hv a tiny team or distribute it via 3rd parties.
2. For package heading to emerging mkts/non-English speaking countries, I'll especially select those that are big in the destination but may be tiny or unheard of @ origin. @ home, at least I know how to find their local office even if it's small and @ destination, the package will hv no problem due to their big network. If I select those that are big @ home but tiny in the emerging mkt destination, it may take forever for my package recepients to track down that tiny outfit in their country where communication+transportation services are typically immature.

Thanks for the help guys!
After consulted BOTH, my Package was sent with UPS today, because from their cargo center here in Phil will be faster delivered to SYD also cheaper than Fedex that they said me would handled via Memphis, TN. AIRFLEETS.NET STAFF PHOTO SCREENER
