Why no LCC to greece?

Ok this sounds silly but im doin my a-leval business studies project on a new fictional Low Cost airline called FlySkyJet.com. difference is this lcc aint going to fly to palma and malaga etc.. like most uk lcc do. I am going to fly them to Greece, Turkey and Egypt (corfu, kos, zakynthos etc.)

just to help back up my coursework....... is there or was there any LCC that fly to:

Antalya
Bodrum
Dalaman
Zakynthos
Corfu (kerkyra)
Kos
Crete (Heraklion)
Luxor
Sharm el Sheikh

- and just one question just to back up my coursework - would the routes work?? Or is it just best to fly charter/fly schedule with connecting flights? is there a market for low-cost flights to this areas? should I find another project?

Hmmm you'd have to have the demand there, point being with 4hr+ flights they need to be a bit comfortable and also u need to make something on it..so LCC wouldnt really be an option.

As for a market...well the routes are wide open from the UK..So theres no competing, except with the charter airlines.

I think it is a good idea....

A student from liverpool is setting up a LCC called nexus going to the canary islands from LPL...

Also I believe there is an LCC flying from Edingbrough to Greece... Can't remember the name..... Fly's to Athens and other destinations...

Too far for a LCC to go
A normal LCC could complete 2/3 sectors whilst your plane was still in the sky!
