Spotting at MUNICH

Hi Just wondering what the spotting mound is like at Munich, from their website it seems to me that their is a bus that runs there from the terminal am i correct. What cargo movements can i expect to see there? And what airlines go in there? And any other usful info would be highly appreciated. ALSO HAS THE FRANKFURT SPOTTING TERRACE RE-OPENED YET??? Thanks Any help is higly appreciated! :)

Although i haven't been yet, i will be briefly stopping at Munich on a coach trip an believe that it will be stopping at the mound. I will try to send info when i get back on the 27th. With regards to Frankfurt again i have never been but i haven't heard that the viewing terrace has re-opened and believe it is supposed to re-open either later this year or next year. Either way i will try to let you know when i get back. Hopefully that information will be helpful

I have been to Munich but i wasn't at the viewing terrace. Instead i was at a viewing mound which overlooks both runways and provided you were there for a whole day or maybe a weekend you would probably see everything that was in. At the bottom of the mound there is a Swiss Air Lines DC3, A Lufthansa Constellation and a Junkers aircraft which i think was Lufthansa although i am not sure.
