How popular are your pictures?

As someone who has only recently started uploading pictures, I am intrigued by the distributed of hits on my various pictures. In my first week I have several pictures that have scored more that 20 hits. The two most popular are the subject of concern by KiwiRob (i.e. aerial shots of airports).

However there are another batch of my pictures which have had no hits.

How do the others Airfleets decide what to look at? I am usually looking for a particular aircraft or location.

Hi Stewart.
I normally like to get loose inside the website. I start by the latest ones, then I link or by the registration, or the airport, or the photographer depending on the mood . I just surf with no direction . Also I am not too worried with the hits a photo gets. Whenever we upload photos to any website, the hits are difficult to predict so the best way is not to worry, and just enjoy them the same way you enjoy other uploaders photos.
I prefer spending (or investing) my time choosing the best photos, and edit them the best possible way rather than thinking on how many hits it will get.

Hey I have not problem with aerial photos or airports, I just don't like poor quality photos. What I find funny is two of my worst photos are my most popular. These were taken before I went digital and started putting more effort in getting a good shot. I would remove them but people appear to like them!

I have a look at the most popular ones first and then start looking at the oher work of the photographers, a lot like Miguel.
