Can anyone clarify this question please, Should you crop at the wing tips, at the nose cone and tailfin top??

Or do the wing tips not come into the equation

I would really appreciate some input on this as I cannot see anything in the forum.

If someone could spell out exactly how they go about cropping an image i would be very grateful

Many thanks in advance
Mark

it depends to which site your going to submit your picture to.... Airfleets like the 'whole' aircraft - Airliners and Jetphotos will take 'closer' crops......... how to crop - well that also depends on the software package your using..... assuming 'Elements' use the 'crop handles' and check the size with 'image size' in 'image' header..... this ideally can be 1024x800 or 1280x853 or 1600x1280 depending again on which site your submitting to...........

We indeed like the whole body from the aircraft INCLUDING the tail tip(there are exeptions but 99 of 100 times we reject on cropping),not always including the wings, that's not always important.
indeed on 'other' sites they sometimes use another crop.
On Airfleets we like to see the pictures in a ratio of 2x3 or 3x4
that means in the ratio of 2x3 683x1024 or 800x1200 and in the 3x4 ratio that means 768x1024 or 900x1200.
keep in mind that IF you send a picture standing upright the maximum hight is 950 pixels.
