I have just booked a flight for a friend on Ryanair on the route STN to PIK on March 29 returning April 4 at a cost of £91.42.
Ryanair the low cost airline NO WAY WHO DO THEY THINK THEY AR KIDDING
I really do have a concern for this airline as like you Santos I think they are overstretched and are having to up the fares to survive. Could they go pop ?

just booked a flight for as relative from Pisa to BOH and its a joke
If you book a return by (0.01 Eur) and 0.01p it worked out 28.72
with extras and paying by CC it was 67.80
I then booked 2 singles same price and it was £55.72
how can they justify that?
this airline is on the way down
recently more costs and charges added

They are getting more expensive everyday, the days are gone where we were able to book £26 & £28 pounds return flights...
Regarding Porto(OPO), i just think that the airports are to close to offer such amount of flights per week...south west, midlands and liverpool, it happens to with other routes to...

I must add my story to this...
I recently booked Dublin-Beauvais return with FR, due to me being a student and not being able to afford other prices around!
The fare was 0.01 cent each way, but we ended up paying €140 for two of us by the time we paid taxes, bag fee, airport check in fee because of said bag, and credit card handling fees...... etc etc! what got me though was, even though only one of us was bringing a bag, because we were on the same booking we had to both check in at the airport, ad couldn't avail of online check in!
Someone asked me recently how they were making money with fares for as low as 0.01 cent. Simple, they make you pay such ridiculous fees and charges. For example the wheelchair levy, apparently they make millions and millions from that every year. Do not get me wrong, of course they should provide a wheelchair to people who need one, but they should not make us all pay a levy to cover a small cost that they could easily absorb. The levy I feel is ridiculous.
What i find amusing, until you have to pay them of course, are that the airport charges can vary so much, depending on when you buy your flights with them.... they can be rounded up and down so that fares are made to be the nice round €5 or whatever that you see in their sales.
and finally, another story... FR like to broadcast themselves as being low fares.... and they are for a lot of travelers, but if you have to travel at short notice or during a busy period they are often as expensive as the competition.
For example I traveled with them two summers ago from Dublin to Biarritz and i paid €380 return for the pleasure, grant it it was summer, but still that amount is fairly criminal to get from Ireland to France!
And to any moderator or airline who may look at this post, please do not worry about it, everything in the above is true and accurate!
