The Concorde F-BVFF is exposed at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.
It is oriented in Ouest direction (New York).
You could see it by night thanks lots of lights.
The best point of view is along the road of HILTON's hôtel.

Hi Olivier.
Tell me. Is it a temporary exhibition or something permanent ?
Thank you very much.
By the way...nice photo.

Hi Miguel

This is permanent.
The first days after the end of AF Concorde flights, the decision was to scrapp this aircraft...
But decision changes and it is also a permanent ad for Air France at CDG.

Thanks for the answer.
If there were already several good reasons to go to CDG...here is another one

Thank You Miguel,

CREW has the good answer, it's a permanent exhibition...
If you come, you take the rue de New York , the New York street. Just after the terminal T3, on this road, you take the direction of terminal T1. Always straight on, and you'll see the Concorde just before the T1, on your right side, near the HILTON.
The best point to take photos is on the left side of the New York street, parallel with the plane...

Good luck... i hope you've understood my special english language...

Concorde is one of the most beautiful aircraft I ever seen. Why,why did someone have a problem with it???
So many aircraft go to history I am really sad that this one did I was really hoping this might be the aircraft of the 21st century. As a memory of it I bought a concorde pin, which I carry around all the time...Sooooo sad....

Question.
I've heard that the local authorities from Paris have introduced a new law (law 05-4979) that will allow the police to punish spotters that take photos (minimum fine is 350 euros).
And...what about the Concorde??...
Any fellow from Paris to make a contribution?

Hi, Miguel,

In fact, that's right when you say that there's a new law which permit local police to punish spotters.--
But in fact the local police is very tolerant. Policeman will check your identity and that's all.---
There's a lot of tolerance beacause a local association of spotters have complained of this situation directly at french autorities.--
This law is to prevent terrorist attacks.---
But if you're polite, with a  good face , there's no problem to take pictures. ---
The armed forces make control, like policemen, and they're not tolerant! In this case, you've to move.. and they contol you again at a new great place for spotters!!
Excuse me for my english...
I hope you've understood!

Thank you again Olivier, and yes I did understood.
I understand that security is important all over the world, and particularly at airports which are very sensitive areas, but I also think that even though enthusiasts should't be policeman, I think that the presence of persons (in this case the enthusiasts) near the fences should be seen in a positive way, after all if something strange happens easily can that be reported to the authorities.
I really hope that French photographers that over the years have been pleasing us with magnificent images, can still do that, after all this is just an hobbie on which we can be outside chating with friends and making some photos, and that is far more healthy than just beeing at home watching television.
I truly hope that this  blow  at our hobbie right in Europe, which has been for centuries a model in terms of several art forms, and that includes photography, can be solved in the best possible way for all ( and that includes the authorities, the civil aviation, the society and those that have aviation as something positive ) in a win-win situation.

Be careful if you park your car, just behind the concorde (there's a little place!), because policemen will charge you!!!

Hi Creator!!

No, there are not signs which informs you that it's forbidden to take photos...
In fact it's a local authority decision.
You can stop your car for e faw minutes and take our photo, but that's all, after, the better thing is to move.
Good luck
bye

This law is really horrible!
In Switzerland, (ZRH) we have the visitors terrace just on top of the now not operational terminal. It was closed because of traffic drawbacks after swissair.

There still are ACFTs on blocks there. Especially high risk destinations just 10m from the terrace. Spotting is explicitely encoureaged :D

p.s. Spotters are one of the most important «tool» of Swiss Air Law enforcement. Remember Onur Air which was prohibited from landing? They removed the livery and continued operations.

It's only after a spotter noticed the immatriculation conflict when uploading photos, that the government noticed the action...

And what should terrorists do with Aircraft images? If i'm a terrorist, i'm going to ask Airbus for each and every detail of their planes. Trust me this is more or less possible.
