Dear Spot planes, it is not official, not at all. Airfleets accept front, back, side view, close-ups, but we want the photographers do not cut any part of the wing on the photo. AIRFLEETS.NET STAFF PHOTO SCREENER

Close-ups is an exception on wing question for Bad Cropping.
I'm sure i can talk in name of all screeners. Please...when take photos, do not cut out any part of the wing and maybe winglets(Bad Cropping) most of cases. AIRFLEETS.NET STAFF PHOTO SCREENER

May be other screeners can also respond.
My question is then: it is official guideline that you need the whole aircraft, every part of it, be in the photo to be accepted even it is not artistic to include all parts?

Spot Planes,
No it is not a rule that cropped wings are rejected, speaking for myself If the cropping is in balance then I will accept it, silmilarly close up shots will be accepted by me.
When the photos are in screening we have a list of criteria to choose from to reject photos.
Some shots of cropped wings etc, will be rejected because the photographer did not frame the shot correctly and rightly so, but the ones being rejected for balanced cropping are certainly not being rejected by me.
I strive to accept as many photos as I can, if i reject a shot it is because of a good reason to do so. AIRFLEETS.NET STAFF PHOTO SCREENER

I had my first close up (nose to front door) finally accepted by screeners, but i asked they to let me share the nice Southwest N439WN B737-7H4 picture. I got happy!!! I think screeners, like me, following the guideline to rejection, are accepting more close ups!!!
So...Spot planes, send us your close ups and artistic photos again!!! AIRFLEETS.NET STAFF PHOTO SCREENER

Hello
Here's another screener with a reaction
Gee wizz
2 years ago we were a bit smaller community with 8 screeners, now we got bigger and we have 25 screeners.
Ok everybody has his own meaning of accepting a picture or reject it.
Yes I see a lot of pictures rejected for bad cropping and no I do sometimes not agree with my fellow screeners.
When looking at pictures I don't care about wings or tails.very simple who cares about the wings.
every same type of plane has the same wings if it is from AA or KLM or even Quantas.same type same wing.
What I find very important is that ist is cropped a manner way.
So centered in the frame or if a close up looking centerd in the picture.
If they cut of a tail or wing It wil get accepted by me.
For example you see some pictures(some are from me yes)
[p]84531[/p]
Here you can see the wing is cut of and got accepted(is my picture)
[p]89001[/p]
Yes Werner here is you're picture.....
Look at the comment please no bad cropping....
But Werner You screened a canaries ATR 72 EC-GRP and you're comment is: Bad cropping
Do not crop out the wing. So got rejected.Bit double don't you think?
Here's another comment from you:After take off. Dear screeners, photo above minimum size and with good quality, please note it! Are you afraid of getting rejected?
Not necesary if the picture is good it will get accepted.
Here's another picture
[p]83677[/p]
Great cropping and nice action shot.and as you can see who needs a wing and a tail?
Some times there are differances in screening and there for I would love to see that all screeners getting connected to get our screening on the same line in a forum and yes screeners we've allready got one.Only you all don't know it exists.
Please contact me and we can get connected.....
To all the photographers: keep up the good work of photographing and keep up uploading the pictures.OK you might sometimes do not agree the screening.but we screeners do the best we can
we all love planes and keep that in mind to help getting Airfeets bigger and bigger.
So uploaders keep you pictures sharp centered and in good quality(plaese all look at the size and size ratio of you're pictures) And than it won't be nessesay to see the wings of tails.
Size ratio of picture 2x3 or 3x4
So that means:
1000x666/750
1024x683/768
1200x800/900
Please keep the pictures in this size so that they nicely fill up the screens of the comps...A
Any other questions about pictures don't hasitate to ask or look at the upload quide lines seen here

Dear Ton,
I accept close-ups and sometimes photos where part of the wings out of photo. I think if the aircraft is centered, cropped a manner way and sharp i accept the picutre.
You're right Ton, i rejected the Canaries ATR72 EC-GRP as bad cropping, but i did it because considered not good enough.
I have many closeups rejected (sometimes i don't understand why, because database has many close-ups) and one or other with the wing cropped out (same thing, rejected), only one accepted.
Afraid rejections? Maybe, because i have many good photos i don't understand why got rejected. So i ask screeners for more attention on screening, because is the only reason some photos from me got rejected. You got my only one close-up accepted as exemple, there are many closeups accepted and i had many (my closeups) rejected.
Recently i've seen many close-ups and wings cropped out rejected, not by me. Some screeners, i will not write their names, rejected close-ups and wings cropped out. I don't understand why, but wings included in the picture and tail have the artistic value. Your photo (Privatair) and Micheal Rosa's (SAS) have the wing out but no prejudice to the cropping.
Each screener has his own way to see the pictures and unfortunately doesn't follow the same line.
I will contact you for we get connected.
Photographers, Ton said all you need to keep up the good work of photographing and the sizes mentioned....i have 975x633 size accepted, is also good!
Let's help to keep the level of Airfleets up, growing and growing even more each day!
Greetings Werner AIRFLEETS.NET STAFF PHOTO SCREENER
