Well people. Ive just heard that Varig is going to have Orange within their new colour scheme. That should be interesting. There also getting some more 737-3--'s and 800's. I saw the news on Globo news channel here.

Orange! sounds a bit extreme why not stick with the colours they currently have or is this some miss guided attempt to turn it into GOL.

Not quite sure. From what I understood there gonna incorporate orange with the exsisting colour scheme. Not sure how it would look though. I have my doubts

I didn't like the new color scheme of Varig/GOL and saw the photo on Contato Radar, brazilian aviation forum in portuguese. I liked the Icaro scheme and then the dark blue belly color scheme with the dark blue and the yellow star on tail. Bad color scheme the new one. Hopefully they havent finished it but to be honest i can think of worse liveries to come out only this year. - Delta (too much white) - Air India (Just nasty) - Spirit Airlines (Too predictable and also horrible) just to name a few. Others of recent times was Air Canada although it has grown on me a bit now.

Talk about liveries, how about JL's samurai sword with blood stain for its big 'J' on the side of the aircraft and the big slice of watermelon on the tail? Here is a list of my favorite current airline liveries: NH: Nice combo of the rising Dark/Light blue stripes against a white background that's especially pleasing against a clear blue sky. This scheme has been around for over 20yrs but still look good. SQ: Although traditional, it's very graceful & surely an enduring classic. Has been around for over 30 yrs and still look good. AF: Neat & smart tail logo. AF literally invented the all-white fuselage livery concept that has been copied by everyone. NW: Very sharp black+red against a metalic silver background. Clearly communicate NW's highly web-based Corp+Customer strategy. It's hard to do a good livery on a metalic silver background that's not boring(AA's boring). TG: Very majestic yet neat. Easily relate to the fabrics and colours of the Thai royals & nobles.
