Will 787-8's EIS be delayed?

Both Boeing and ANA(NH) still target an EIS(Entry Into Service) in May08 for the 788. Given the latest Boeing announcement for the delay of the 1st flight till late Nov/Dec 07, is it possible to complete all flight tests+certification trials for a completely new airplane program in 5-6 mths? If Boeing pulled it off, it'll be a historic record for flight test+certification program of a new airliner. Or should we expect further major delays just like the A388?

I was considering to book 1 of NH's world 1st 788 flights for Jun08 most likely on their NRT-PEK route. I know this is a bit strange as the majority on this forum look forward to get on an A388 flight instead and most will trade a 788 flight for an A388 flight any day.....I'm starting to think I may be a weirdo airliner enthusiast.....

Boeing now states EIS late 2008... and rumours are flying of later than that. Take a look at the management shakeup.....
