Airbus announced a big order (61 planes) from Grupo Marsans: 04 A380 (2 for Air Comet, 2 for Aerolineas Argentinas) 10 A350-900 05 A330-200 12 A319 25 A320 05 A321 This on top of the already ordered 12 A330-200s. I start to wonder if it is economically feasible to operate a small fleet of A380s? To put a complete infrastructure in place for only 4 planes (and I also doubt for the airlines ordering only 5) especially if you station them on two different continents... I don't know if it's economical but i'm surprised with the 02 A380 for ARG! Mrtnw, do you have any info if the others Airbuses orders are all for Air Comet or have some for ARG? B737-500 and B747-400 in ARG fleet shows Boeing for many aircraft in its fleet. A343 and A310 will be replaced in ARG fleet? Can you or anyone answer these questions? Thanks in advance! I think that the A380 eill surprise everyone,even if thy sell them @ cost.2 for each airline will work until the routes grow.They could use A345 or 46 for Back up,unlessthey are using them for tours.
