Wizz air announces new route from BOH

Hi Chaps. Wizz air has announced it will start a new route from BOH to Gdasnk starting march 2008. What with the new winter program to Bergamo. There are other new desinations. Krakov, Alicante, And Palmair introduce Tunisia and Fuerteventura. A few years ago this tiny airport was never heard off. Now it has to be one of the fastest growing regionals in the UK. Only time before a transatlantic service starts and I reckon it will be Delta with a 757 or 767.

You'll maby have to fight off Southampton for a transatlantic route but I think you just might do it. I had a great day in August when I made a visit to BOH. Great little airport which is prime for development.

As far as i know SOU isn't capable of handling that kind of traffic. The runway is certainly not capable of handling large twins with full pax, fuel etc etc. Where BOH on the other hand is capable of handling the larger traffic and is developing rather faster than anticipated. The only problem with BOH is the transport system wich SOU have. But we have the Runway they Haven't got and they can't etend as far As I know. I think when the 32 million has been spent I think we could see a little gem of an airport with good connections and possible services taken away from LGW LHR and even SOU and BRS. Lets see. As far as I know the runway ar BRS is shorter than BOH.
