Pluna, Lineas Areas of Uruguay has signed a firm order for seven Bombardier CRJ900 regional jet and taken option of additional eight.
Not announced the date of the deliveries, anybody knows when Pluna will take the first aircraft and the routes of CRJ900 will flies?
Pluna already flies from Montevideo to Madrid, Asuncion, Buenos Aires, Porto Alegre, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo and Santiago de Chile with its fleet of B737s, B757 and B767. AIRFLEETS.NET STAFF PHOTO SCREENER

Uruguay has rights to fly several countries in America like Peru, Colombia, Venezuela or USA. It could be possible to fly there, although these aren´t the adecuate planes to attend the routes

I read something about the order of CRJ900, although the routes Pluna have rights are inadecuate to this fleet order. I think the use of CRJ900 could be for Porto Alegre and Florianopolis, you not mentined but the airline flies there occasionally, and also Punta del Este, with charters. The CRJ900 are much better than the ATR42-320 that left the Pluna fleet, and the company sees a fleet expansion with regionals. More flights to Buenos Aires-Aeroparque and maybe Cordoba in Argentina.
You have to remember Cordoba was a destinantion operated by U air, that ceased operations some time ago, and Uruguay have rights on the route. Like i said, Pluna wants to expansion their routes and more frequencies on that are operated. The 757-200 on the fleet flies for charter to Caribbean some times.
