- Current Data received from Singapore Satellite Detection Signal which sits at the coordinate of 01.30 S 124.45 E shown that the current position of the aircraft is at 030 13’92’’ S 1190 09’17’’ E.
The missing Adam Air aircraft flight KI 574 had been found in the mountain area around Rangoan Village, Polewali West Sulawesi.
A joined force of SAR, KNKT, TNI , Police and Paramedics , plus the villagers are doing their best to do the emergency evacuation. However due to severe bad weather and geographically hard to reach area, these slow down the process of evacuation.
The joined forces plan to evacuate the victims to RSUD Polewali.
At the moment, the exact detail conditions of the passengers are not fully informed as the lack of communication network in the crashed area. The other disadvantage is that the crashed area is not accessible by any four wheeled vehicles. Therefore, they have to fully rely on two wheeled vehicle

The aircraft was equipped w ELBA which is an old version analog-locator-beacon that could produce false-alarm or false coordinate that's why Singapore-SARSAT may give us wrong coordinate (Poliwali).

Why is it that they have failed to find anything in so much time. The claim their were survivors but how can they possibly know if they can't even locate the wreckage. They now claim they have found a piece of the tail just out to sea. What is going on. ww.airliners.net had a reported this information in the forum
