Boeing wants to step up 787 production

Another bit of information on Boeing.

Boeing had originally planned to produce about 7 787's per month but now they would like to speed up production to 10 787's per month. There is even a possibility (only if everthing goes ahead as planned without trouble) of increasing production to 14 new aircraft per month. With so many orders (360 some orders) I don't know how Boeing will be able to keep up. They better know what they're doing. Sounds a bit scary to me. Just from personal experiences in life I know that doing things too fast can really screw things up. It's like taking a test, if you rush through it you are very likely to make errors. If you take your time you are less likely to mess up.

So if Boeing can keep up with 10 planes a month than great. But 14 sounds like a road to problems to me.
