Hi,
I saw AF ordered 10 A380 but does somebody know where will they fly?
I suppose in US, but where exactly?

Thanks.

Last word was that Air France will launch A380 (with GP7200 engines) service in April 2007, when it receives the first 3 A380-800's out of 10 firm aircraft ordered ( they have delivery slot options on a further 4 aircraft ) starting with Montréal (YUL) Canada then New York (JFK) U.S.A.

For 2008 they will add A380 services to Tokyo (NRT) Japan and Beijing (BEI) China. They have a list of of several other airports for which they are interested in providing A380 service to, but as yet nothing firm announced. Hope this helps.

all the best, Trevor

Thanks a lot,
I travel to Miami every year (with Air France, and rarely with AA) and I hope the A380 will fly to MIA with Air France one day...
But with 5 flights /day to JFK, I think it will be easier for Air France to fit the A380.

Thanks,
Cheers
Hagop.

Maybe you can take a lay over on JFK, if you want to fly the 380 so bad. Costs you a few hours, but you at least flew it ;-)

AF's first A380 delivery was delayed to april 2008 a few months ago.
