As before on this route, I had some problems with bmi's online check-in. Check-in itself was no problem, although the bmi Website forwards you to Swissport for the actual Check-in. But as I have no printer at home, I have to collect my Boarding Pass at the Airport. The self service Check-in counters say I've already checked in, and to contact an agent for my BP. As always when flying Star Alliance ex-BSL, I make use of my LX *S Card and enjoy a Coffee and Croissant in the LX Lounge.
After this quick break, I go straight to the gate, where a Bus is waiting to take us to a remote Stand. There was a French Air Force A340 parked at bmi's usual gate, the sort that is frequently used for Troop movements. I'd already noticed a lot of armed Troops patrolling the

A cooked Breakfast was served in C Class, with Y getting a hot Margherita wrap.

| Arrival
|
Arrival into LHR's Terminal 1 was quick, and with no luggage to collect, I was quickly downstairs and waiting for the Tube into Central London.
