Hi
I have FSX and i was wondering if anyone has made a Jet2.com 737 or 757 for it.
If so, or if you have seen one (it must be for FSX), can you upload it to simviation.com or flighsim.com so I can download it please???
I really want a jet2 livery in my fleet!
Thanks
captaindude

Unlucky there. As i only have FS 2000 there is no other traffic which suites me because i can't fly. I can manage the lightweights and can even fly the 737-400, learjet and 777-200 except when it comes to landing these aircraft. I have succesfully landed the 737-400 but this isn't consistant and never happens twice in a row on two flights. E.g. MAN-AMS and AMS-MAN. I can't figure out how to work the autopilot land function can anyone help so all the sim fatalities are not invain!

You could try landing the plane from an outside view - I find this easy in FSX as you know when your about to touch down. Just dont stall on landing, avoid using the speedbrakes until you are safely down, dont come in too fast, give yourself plenty of runway and make sure the flaps are at full for landing (as im sure you know already)
I had FS2000 before I got FSX, and I found that if you set up the flightplan correctly so that you are lined up with the runway, and use the GPS, you should be able to adjust the autopilot's altitude manually so that it lands itself. Or you could line up with the runway, and gently bring it in to land.
I would seriously reccomend FSX to you as the lessons on it reange from begginers to experts, so you could start from the basics and work up, which includes helping you land the plane!

Yes this is actually one FS2000 but i don't know how it works. Is there a way to get traffic on FS2000 at all because i can't afford to get a new FS yet. I set up the flight plans but it flies over the top of the runway. I then decend and make a holding pattern approach as if there really was traffic. I usually now make go arounds if i don't think i am going to make it. I have fallen short of 12 different airports on several occasions and seem to come in to land far to low and then not decend at the right time. I have never succesfully flown Concorde although i did fly the 777 from Chicago via New York to Manchester and nearly made a safe approach to 24R. Mine doesn't even have two runways at Manchester!

No it was definately EGCC. I recognised the terminal buildings as i crashed into them! LOL only joking im not that bad! I usually can't land from the outside because i can't reverse thrust from outside the aircraft or lower the gear or change the flaps or arm the speed brake if you get my drift.
