I have one doubt, I have frequent flights to CXJ, a 1.970 m runway at 800m above sea level. Basicaly 2 aicraft fly to there, TAM Foker 100 and GOL Boeing 737-700. What I had noticed is that always, the 737 make a hard landing while the Foker's are very smooth. Is there a techincal reason for that? Thanks Rodrigo

Sure Rodrigo, i landed there once with Gol, and the runway is very restriced. AIRFLEETS.NET STAFF PHOTO SCREENER

The B737 whither on an ILS approach or Visual approach will land fast and hard no matter where it lands. This is normal and safe. The F100 is designed for the type of runway and conditions you speak of. Log on to www.airliners.net and check out the wings on both types. As you knoe wing area is important for take off and landing.
